In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of Dr. King’s assassination, Professor Klimke
will discuss the impact of Dr. King’s visit to
Cold War Berlin in 1964. Klimke is the author
of numerous books on transnational protest
movements, processes of cultural transfer, and
global networks of dissent. His most recent
book is: Handbook of the Global Sixties.
