Friday at 8 pm, rally for Sam Harrell

Dear members,

  We write with devasting news from the Department of Justice: no criminal charges will be filed against the correctional officers who killed Sam Harrell by either the federal or county prosecutor.

  Please meet us at Beacon High School at 8pm tomorrow for a small, but heartfelt protest: FRIDAY 8PM. Bring signs (or just yourselves) and we'll walk along the sidewalk to the boundary of the Fishkill prison.

      We at Beacon Prison Action are horrified that the Dutchess County DA and the Department of Justice have decided not to pursue any charges against the officers who killed Sam Harrell, ensuring that the deep culture of violence in our state prisons and the utter lack of accountability for corrections officers will continue.
